Questions To Ask Your
Chiropractor
What
kind of experience do you have?
Dr. Delos Soehren and his staff have a
combined experience of over 17 years in treating spinal related health
conditions and has helped thousands of local residents
with their health problems.
What
type of equipment and techniques do you use to perform
chiropractic care?
We have the most advanced chiropractic treatment and
diagnostic testing equipment available. We offer the
Pro-Adjuster , SpineMed spinal decompression, and
Spine Force rehab, which are all the most
state of the art, technologically advanced machines
available in the Chiropractic profession today.
How
good are your results with patients?
We get excellent results. The majority of our
patients who make a commitment to their health and
follow through with their treatment program get great
results. The patients who do not get results are the
ones who have an unrealistic expectation about their
health problem and do not commit to the amount of time
and treatments necessary to get well.
We
currently have a 94% success rate with relieving the
pain caused by a herniated disc, bulging disc or disc
degeneration in the neck or low back. This is all done
non-surgically and without using any prescription
medications.
How
expensive is your care?
Our chiropractic care is extremely affordable.
Compared to the costs of medical care, orthodontic care,
or surgery, you will receive a lot of value for your
investment and see great changes in your health.
I
cannot tell you an exact amount because I don't know
what your needs will be until we've met and I've
performed an examination and diagnostic tests.
How
long does it usually take to feel better and heal the
cause of my health problem?
Feeling better can take anywhere between 1 to 8
weeks, depending on your age, current health status, the
severity of your health problem, how long you’ve had
your health problem, and many other factors.
Healing the cause of your pain and symptoms is a
process that typically takes between 3 and 12 months.
These
are estimates and we won’t be able to tell you exactly
until we have done our thorough evaluation on you.
Everyone is different and our treatment plans are
customized for each individual patient.
Do
you take x-rays when necessary?
Yes. X-rays are the best low cost solution to
evaluating the health of the spine.
In our
opinion, any Chiropractor that doesn’t require x-rays
before adjusting your spine is committing malpractice.
The only way to really see what is going on with your
spine and to rule out major spinal pathologies is by
taking x-rays.
Do
you have any testimonials from your patients that I can
look at?
Absolutely.

Is your care a “quick fix”
approach, or do you offer treatment programs to heal the
cause of the problem?
Our approach to health is not a “quick fix” approach
because quick fixes do not work. Our approach to health
care is to get you feeling great as quickly as possible
by correcting what’s causing your problem and not just
treating symptoms.
If you only treat your symptoms, you are not healing
what’s actually causing your symptoms. This means you
may feel better, but it will be temporary because there
is still something wrong with your body that hasn’t been
healed. The symptoms always come back unless you’ve
healed their cause.
Do not choose a chiropractor who will tell you they
can improve your health in a couple treatments. This
approach is substandard care. The quick fix approach
will not be able to heal the actual cause of your health
problem.
Do
you offer care for people who are looking to keep
themselves healthy as they age, sometimes called
wellness care?
Yes, this is called “wellness care” or “maintenance
care.” We have hundreds of patients who use
chiropractic care on a regular basis to keep their body
healthy and functioning at an optimal level.
These people receive chiropractic care 1-2 times per
month because they love the difference it makes in their
health and life.
Unfortunately, many people do not understand the
benefits of chiropractic care beyond back and neck pain,
so they have no idea that millions of people use
chiropractic care on a regular basis.
Do not choose a chiropractor who doesn’t have
patients coming in on a regular basis. This is a sign
that they only focus on symptoms and are not teaching
their patients all of the different benefits that a
person can receive from chiropractic care.
Is everyone the right fit
for your office?
No. Just like you are looking for a great doctor,
we are looking for great patients. We do not accept
about 15% of the new patients that come to our office
because it’s not a good match. We primarily work with
people who take their health seriously are committed to
a health care program that will not only get them out of
pain but also health the problems with the body causing
the pain. |
